Russian Architecture Model and European Castle Model

Need a miniature scaled architectural model or building constructed for a film, museum exhibit or for you personal use? Our professional artisans have created countless scaled models to imitate already existing or prospective buildings for film, tv and real estate industries, as well as museum exhibits and dedicated buildings. We also recreate beautiful architectural achievements, such as the St. Basil's Cathedral, a Russian Orhthodox church pictured here. The Cathedral sports a series of colorful bulbous domes that taper to a point, aptly named onion domes, that are part of Moscow's Kremlin skyline. The cathedral was commissioned by Ivan the Terrible to commemorate the capture of the Khanate of Kazan. The cathedral in located in the Red Square, a city square in Moscow, Russia. The square separates the Kremlin, the former royal citadel and currently the official residence of the President of Russia, from a historic merchant quarter known as Kitai-gorod. As major streets of Moscow radiate from here in all directions, being promoted to major highways outside the city, Red Square is often considered the central square of Moscow and all of Russia. The square was meant to serve as Moscow's main marketplace. It was also used for various public ceremonies and proclamations, and occasionally as the site of coronation for Russia's Tsars. The square has been gradually built up since that point and has been used for official ceremonies by all Russian governments since it was established. The name Red Square derives neither from the colour of the bricks around it nor from the link between the colour red and communism. Rather, the name came about because the Russian word (krasnaya) can mean either "red" or "beautiful". This word, with the meaning "beautiful", was originally applied to Saint Basil's Cathedral and was subsequently transferred to the nearby square. As you can see from the picture shown, this miniature model is extremely convincing and would work great for a movie scene or museum exhibit. Our skilled professionalscan build any cultural building of interest to be an exact replica, residing in any country in the world. We can and have also built many different types of castles for films or tv shows over the years. These castles can also be built to you exact specifications and for your personal enjoyment or tobe shared with the public as an exhibit. A castle (from Latin castellum) is a type of fortified structure built in Europe and the Middle East during the Middle Ages by European nobility. Scholars debate the scope of the word castle, but usually consider it to be the private fortified residence of a lord or noble. This is distinct from a palace, which is not fortified, from a fortress, which was not always a residence for nobility, and from a fortified town, which was a public defence – though there are many similarities among these types of construction. Usage of the term has varied over time and has been applied to structures as diverse as hill forts and country houses. Over the approximately 900 years that castles were built they took on a great many forms with many different features, although some, such as curtain walls and arrowslits, were commonplace. Whatever building you are needing a scaled model of, we can make it happen. Just submit your ideas, drawings and photos to us and our artists can work with you to create precisely what you desire.
